In order to improve the knowledge about Akihabara a survey was done. Therefore the area was split into several parts and each group began with mapping its area.

A photo documentation of all facades was done as well as a survey of the existing commercial zone.

Additionally the whole project area has been analysed relating to the level of sounds on street level at 1pm.
