The project "Filter" deals with the current uncertainty of the future relationship between the new UDX skyscraper and the chuo-dori, Akihabara's main business street. The design proposal acts as a kind of filter object between both, dealing with dialogue, thresholds, layering, gradual transitions, and simultaneous realities. It by turns merges and separates different perceptions of the space of apparently incompatible partners. Who is the observer, and who the observed?
