The experience of Akihabara day and night demonstrates the impact of the building skin on urban space. Selecting a site without depth, the project is an experiment in developing a whole building as a skin. Meant to be a storage building, space is created through the materiality of the façade, latex. The flexibility of the material allows the building to "live" by moving with the movement of storage according to need and time of day.
