Three places have been selected in the district for the location of three kinds of hotels. Complementary to each other in their function and spaces, the 3 hotels also allow visitors to experience 3 specific urban situations in Akihabara: the boulevard (chuo dori), the traditional district, and the new IT district. Each of these three complementary hotel proposals, all located on a main road of Akihabara, refers to the specific urban context in their neighbourhood, all together they represent a sequenze of different urban situations. |
