Concept models serve as important tools for the expression of spatial, programmatic and urbanistic ideas and relationships. Preparatory work on the project is brought together and examined in a diagrammatical series of models which lead to first spatial test objects. Some models are thereby developed sketchily and very fast, others are detailed and more precisely resolved, some work with particular scale conditions, others are deliberately without scale. In addition, sometimes several concept models with different topics are developed in parallel. In the end, a synthetic concept model is produced uniting the different strands of investigation. |
